Main application scenarios of ship crane
Share
Ship crane (marine crane/ship hoist) is lifting equipment installed on ships, decks, barges, and ports, primarily used for loading, unloading, lifting, and hoisting operations on water/docks, mainly in the following scenarios:
1. Loading and unloading of cargo at port terminals
◦ Loading and unloading of containers, bulk cargo, general cargo, steel, sand, and gravel.
◦ Cargo hoisting and transfer for fishing boats, cargo ships, and engineering ships.

2. Fisheries and Aquatic Operations
◦ Fish haul lifting, fishing net handling, fish box/fishing gear hoisting.
◦ Fixed lifting equipment on an ocean-going fishing vessel.

3. Support for engineering ships/operation vessels
◦ Salvage ships, dredging ships, and material hoisting for dredgers.
◦ Water construction: steel pipes, rebar cages, equipment hoisting.

4. Ship Supply and Maintenance
◦ Transfer and supply of materials between ships
◦ Hull maintenance, equipment replacement, spare parts lifting
5. Yachts, workboats, rescue boats
◦ Lifeboat and dinghy handling
◦ Maritime rescue and emergency supplies hoisting.
6. Coastal/inland barges, transport ships
◦ Short-distance transfer and loading/unloading of sand, building materials, stone, equipment, etc.
Simply put: whenever there is a need to 'hoist things, move heavy objects, or load and unload on the water' on a ship, ship cranes are basically used.
